There is an unending debate on the how, where and when our Lord Jesus Christ is coming back, as well as the expected mode of His arrival. Different schools of thoughts, as numerous as theologian components and denominational sects, have their own perspective and beliefs of the Parousiamania, all purportedly supported by scriptural records.
The conundrum is that everyone claims its version of interpretation of the recordings of the Holy Scriptures is inspired by the Spirit, but being cognizant of the fact that diverse spirits operate as recorded in 1 John 4:1 “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world”, how then can we tell which spirit is truly of God?
Obviously, all the versions of interpretation on the Second Advent cannot be inspired by the true God since they are all different and God is not an author of confusion. It presupposes that some of the so called “God inspired’ interpretation are actually inspired by some other mundane Spirit and not that of God.
This is not to castigate or accuse any one or denomination of fraud for it could be genuine confusion predicated on foundational religion and general nurture. Be that as it may, it cannot be conferred with any cloak of legitimacy as the truth is solo, uniquely universal and cannot be complicated with the argument of relativity.
The very nature of the compilation of the Holy Bible also contributes to this confusion being an assemblage of revelations as told by different Apostles and Prophets over eons. Considering the fact that perceptions and nurture influence the nuances of language, one can therefore understand the diverse expressions of one expected activity in several modes as influenced by their respective lenses.
Generally, all the prophecies can be distilled into two distinctive divide which to some religious philosophers are contradictory. On one hand, Our Lord Jesus Christ is expected to ‘come like a thief in the night’ as recorded, for instance in the following passages of the Bible (1 Thessalonians 5:2; 2 Peter 3:10; Revelation 16:15), a term which connotes sneakiness and quietness.
On the other hand, the prophecies describe the Second Advent of Our Lord Jesus Christ as a major earth shattering event, where all hell will break loose and all eyes will behold and understand the phenomenon immediately as witnessed in 1st Thessalonians 4:16; 2 Thessalonians 1:6-7; 2 Peter 3:10; Jude 1:14-15; Revelation 1:7-8; Matthew 24:30). This school of thought on His second “bomb-blast-sort-of” appearance, to many, is totally antithetical to the first surreptitious mode of entry, and there lies the supposed contradictions.
However, lessons from the story of the seven blind men and the elephant fable, where on feeling a part of the elephant, each created his own version of reality from their limited experiences and perspective, should be applied in the analyses of the prophecies on the Second coming of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
Accepting one version of the prophecies, to the exclusion of the other aspects, probably not well understood, is akin to falsifying mathematical figures to arrive at a known outcome. If we must accept the version of a thunderous arrival only, what about the surreptitiousness part of the puzzle?
Ignoring the “coming like a thief” part of the prophecy leaves a massive chasm in the complete analysis because several other portions of the Bible lend credence to the quiet entrance argument. For instance, Revelation 3:12 talks about coming in a NEW NAME, Revelation 12:5 reveals the birth of a Man child to rule the universe while Prophet Daniel’s prophecy (Daniel 2:44) on establishing a Kingdom that will swallow up all other kingdoms, all connote a sneakiness and a gradualness.
It therefore would make greater sense to avoid the tyranny of ‘or’ and embrace the genius of ‘and’ as expounded by Jim Collins. Christ doesn’t have to come either like a thief in the night or make a grand thunderous entrance but it could be a serial event, one preceding the other. In the fable of the blind men and the elephant mentioned above, each made a valid point but only a collation of their perspective could truly define the specimen before them. Likewise, only a holistic analysis of all the related prophecies on His second coming, from an expected birth angle with a New Name (surreptitious entrance) to a sudden appearance, can rightly present the true event or sequence of events expected.
Still dwelling on the philosophy of the blind men and Elephant fable, could one of the blind men or even all of them collectively correctly analyse their individual perspectives to arrive at the correct description of what the elephant truly was? Not likely at all, we will naturally posit. The more likely scenario would be a verdict from someone with eyes, or at a vantage position, so to speak.
Our Lord Jesus Christ in His Divine foresight had already prepared a solution to this expected confusion though most religious bodies fail to properly situate the information in the sequence of expected events before His Second Advent. Realizing that mankind would not comprehend the prophecies and His teachings, Our Lord Jesus Christ promised to send a Comforter who will expatiate and reveal all hidden things to man. And He did, although many are unaware of Him, but still, several others are under His tutelage presently.
Several attestations and prophecies have affirmed the fact that the Promised Comforter is on earth in the person of Leader Olumba Olumba Obu, the founder and sustainer of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, who has revealed the meaning of the prophecies of Christ’s second coming as well as expounded on His teachings which were mostly in parables.
He is the ONLY one with the Supernatural Knowledge conferring on Him the vantage position to articulate the different parts of the puzzle, as it concerns the second coming of Christ and His recognition, and Has handed down to mankind the exact structure of events to come before the great revelation of the Our Lord Jesus the Christ.
The Holy Father has proclaimed clearly and openly to the entire world that Christ will never crash-land from the skies, from now till eternity as protagonists of the sudden appearance believe, but must be borne of a woman as recorded in Revelation 12:5. (Everlasting Gospel Vol 2 – 102 : 42). The Supreme Father has also explained the true meaning of the comment by the Angel as recorded in Act 1: 11 which reads “Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.”
Contrary to the understanding, by the majority of Christendom, that the above passage means that Christ will descend in the same way He ascended, the Supernatural Teacher, Leader Olumba Olumba Obu, has informed mankind that the message of the Angel has been misconstrued for he meant that as Christ was born in flesh, in like manner shall He return (Everlasting Gospel Vol 2 – 102: 37 – 41).
In sum, the two ideas, Christ surreptitious entry into the world and His inevitable eternal recognition and glory, are not necessarily divergent but is a sequence as revealed by the Omniscient God, Leader Olumba Olumba Obu.
In affirmation of our Lord Jesus Christ’s promise that the Comforter which He would send to man will teach man to the accurate knowledge of the truth, Leader Olumba Olumba has revealed another very critical attribute to look out for in the recognition of the Christ while He is still clandestinely setting up the structures of His Kingdom. The attribute is Power. In the Everlasting Gospel, Vol 2, Chapter 62, vs 9, 19 and 34, the Holy Father emphasizes that whoever ABSOLUTE and UNFATHOMABLE Power radiates from is the Christ, for all Powers in heaven and on earth are under His control.
…whoever ABSOLUTE and UNFATHOMABLE Power radiates from is the Christ, for all Powers in heaven and on earth are under His control.
– Leader Olumba Olumba Obu
However, notwithstanding His unmatched Powers over all things in the Universe, animate and inanimate, He is incorruptible and the epitome of humility, the Holy Father further revealed. Complete Power and consummate humility are His Hallmark.
This is the earthshaking information the whole Christendom should have and internalize at this point in time since the Returned Christ, the King of kings and Lord of lords, His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu, as attested to by millions, is already on earth and quietly laying the foundations of His Eternal Kingdom.
Therefore, the debate on the mode of entrance is now a very belated one as He is incontrovertibly seated on His throne. If you are still wondering how to identify the Christ on earth, here is your cue. Absolute Power, cloaked in unnerving humility, is His identity.
Thank You Father.
