Love is the Key to this Kingdom of Jehovah God and His Christ

Humble Beginnings

The Holy Father, Leader Olumba Olumba Obu moved out of His birth place, Biakpan at a young age, and started trading in Calabar before starting his spiritual mission of building this kingdom. The people marveled at his honesty in his marketplace, a trait which was not very common. He was largely successful but when it was time to begin His mission, that venture had to be wrapped up.

From house to house He went, showing love and compassion in practical ways. He taught, healed, gave hope to the people and soon, His one man ministry grew into the worldwide phenomenon that it is today.

In 1956, the first place of worship (bethel) was established at at No. 8 Eton Street, Calabar, Cross River State and soon, the numbers grew so vast that the tiny two bedroom apartment in a rented thatched house could not contain the members. They moved to 26 Mbukpa Street also in Calabar, where they worshipped until that space also became exhausted. This time, the move was like none other. On Friday, the 8th of August, 1958 the entire members of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star led by Leader Olumba Olumba Obu, marched in a Solemn procession from 8th Eton street to the more roomy accommodation at No. 26 Mbupka street, Calabar, dressed in their white robes. This movement caused a stir in Calabar. They had not seen anything like it before.

Presently, the World Headquarters (WHQ) of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star is at No. 34 Ambo Street, Calabar South Local Government Area of Cross River State, Nigeria.

The growth of BCS has been phenomenal, made possible by the charismatic personality, purposefulness and truthful consistency of its Founder and Leader, Olumba Olumba Obu. Now you can find BCS in many countries of the world including most African countries, the United Kingdom, United States, Germany, Trinidad and Tobago, Russia, Italy, West Indies, India, Malaysia and Scandinavian countries among others. The Holy Father continues to evangelize the world through His children.

Incorporation

Brotherhood of the Cross and Star was officially incorporated under the law of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in 1956 and the Certificate of Incorporation as a religious organization was presented to the Board of Trustees on Thursday, 25th March 1964.

His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu is at the helm of affairs, BCS Worldwide. He is the Faithful and True (Revelation 19:11), the Righteous Judge, the Returned Christ, the First and Last, the only begotten Son of God who came as Adam in His first advent, as Our Lord Jesus Christ in His second advent, and has now returned as the Iron Rod Ruler, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords in His third and last advent (Revelation 19:11-15, Revelation 2:27)

Sovereignty

There is no leader in the world like His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu

In Him is Holiness, purity, the truth, for He is the light of man, the long-expected Savior, the last hope of man.

In His last advent, He admonished His disciples to pray thus: “Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.” Hence, as Christ, He set up this Kingdom by laying its foundations, and The Father, His Father and Our Father, Leader Olumba Olumba Obu established this Kingdom on earth and thereafter handed over to His Holiness to superintend, as was promised Him in John 17:5 “And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.”

Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven

It is an indisputable spiritual fact that the Sole Spiritual Head of the Universe, Leader Olumba Olumba Obu, and The King of Kings and Lord of Lords, His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu are one inseparable entity. Although they are two physical personalities (the Father and the Son), they are one. In The Father is found The Son, and in The Son, The Father richly dwells; and through Him, the Son, the Father administers the Kingdom. (John 10:30, John 17:21-23)
